So, Do You Bamboo? Hello and Welcome to Canadian Cozy! As a new mom, I was driven to start Canadian Cozy™ to offer the modern family a unique and fresh collection of bamboo baby gear and accessories. If it’s bamboo, practical and stylish – we make it! It began with a trip to the grocery store where I finally decided to transition from the stroller and car seat and use the shopping cart. It was one of those “mom moments” where you think, “this could be good or really…really bad!” Our first trip went well, but our son spent most of the time licking and drooling all over the cart handles. Yuk! Anticipating dozens of trips to the grocery store, we needed a practical solution- FAST!

After a lengthy search online, and at baby boutiques and stores we discovered most cart covers were extremely bulky, juvenile looking and made from polyester. I’m always looking for an eco-friendly option and couldn’t find any covers lined with cotton or made with modern prints. Also, knowing I’d be using this product for years, I wanted a cart cover with a buckle that fastened in the back, away from tiny toddler hands!
So, Canadian Cozy™ was born and we launched our first product. A sleek shopping cart cover made with hip and fresh 100% cotton fabric and lined with a soft, breathable, cotton/bamboo blend core. Our Patent Pending design eliminates the bulk and yet doesn’t compromise on baby’s comfort. Our vision is to inspire a generation of families to “shop clean” and “think green!”

Our success with our shopping cart cozies inspired us to develop more bamboo baby products. Check back with us to view our new line of stroller bunting bags called Urban Podz™. In the future, we will launch other Canadian Cozy™ products using the same philosophy, preserving the environment, using natural materials, and keeping Canadian kids cozy!

Contribute - Canadian Cozy™ believes in giving back to our community. Using the remnants of our shopping cart covers we work with a local high school to make pet beds for animal shelters. In turn, these students earn valuable community service hours needed to obtain their high school diploma.
